Nuvelo's pipeline includes NU172, a direct thrombin inhibitor that has completed Phase 1 clinical development, for use as a potential short-acting anticoagulant during medical or surgical procedures; and Phase 1 clinical candidate NU206 for the potential treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) injury, inflammatory bowel disease, bone disease, and wound-healing.
In addition, Nuvelo expects its research programs in leukemia therapeutic antibodies and Wnt signaling pathway therapeutics to further expand its pipeline and create additional partnering and licensing opportunities.
